66 Indian creek loop
You know how the fuel knob is broke off on most HGPs you find, I know you can buy a new stem but being tight and a little mechanically inclined, I wondered if any one has brazed a new set of splines on the stub and turned it to the same dia.? The splines  look close to the same as 220 valve. Used to have a buddy that was a machinist, He'd do this kinda stuff for a six pack but he passed on so I'll try it myself 0620201411-00 (1).jpg

I make them out of 200A valve stems and Warren sells them.  As far as I know he has some still, in case you have trouble with your project.
Good luck!  Sounds like a good plan.
