My friend Karl aside from being a true avid sportsman, also works in the oil fields. He has access to these cardboard boxes, tall enough for a 220E, wide enough for a 228E with the liner removed or just cut down, and strong enough to hold a baby buffalo! I had asked for some and he delivered. Water tested to 3 inches of rain at the last fall Central Kansas Gathering at Lake Wilson.
Thanks Karl!

Great boxes.   Good use.  Good way to store/stack lanterns.

I bought some 10"x10"x24", 200# strength, single layer corrugated, cardboard boxes from U-Line, intended for storing / shipping lanterns. You just need to add some padding in the bottom, something like a repurposed piece of styrofoam, to keep the lantern centered, add some padding on top. You'll see some, when your "haul" arrives.
