I found a 200A Lantern dated 9/56 with a green vent on a red tank. Does anyone know if this is an original issue or a Frankenstein?

Frank. Vent is probably from a 5101 propane or a 202 Perfessional. Is it a high or low vent? 5101 was high.
It's priceless until someone puts a price on it.

For a few months they made these before they went to an all red. You may already know this but just in case you didn’t. These were known as the Christmas lantern.  ABE7D59B-C0A8-44A8-A772-36B380D66582.jpeg  92A8BD55-0422-4B92-9260-E5113C574BBC.jpeg

That's a cool find even though it is a frank. I'd gladly send you the correct red vent for yours in exchange for the correct green vent that I need for my 202. 😁

Well, there are two of these out there. I found mine in an Antique store a few years ago. I only picked it up because it had a green sunrise globe on it. I found a 2006 Seasons lantern globe that was a winter theme. So, it was a perfect match for a reverse Christmas lantern. I take this one to get togethers.

I will have to fire this one up tonight with it being 200 day!

Here's a vent from a Coleman 5101 butane lantern:

Looks pretty much the same.

Karen, that's a great lantern with all those custom parts; looks like a custom collar and vent from here.
