From what I read the Gold Bond series for model 200a was only produced in 11-71, 5-72 and 2-73
just 3 months.

That is correct Doug. I've had all 3 dates. I've passed all but my 11-71 along to other collectors. Both 228 series had different dates that I don't recall at the moment.
