Will any other generator nut fit a 500 stove? The one on mine is cracked.

I thought a 237 gen nut was interchangeable - but I'm not going to fall on my sword for this one.

I also immediately thought "237 nut".  I set a 237 and a 500 side by side and decided I wasn't gonna tear the 237 down to be certain they were not the same size.
Makes me think that "237" is a better answer than I had credited.  Will now tear down and check.

That's one  thing about working on these GPA,S we are always finding or making parts to keep them running, I did order a new one from Mike along with a few other items. I do like to keep them as original as possible.

I just freakin' LOVE my three 500s.  All-singing, mostly-dancing for any task.  Not the fastest boilers, but they will get it done, and they have a sweet simmer.
