I hate FB marketplaces algorithms!

Was headed out last evening and had taken one last look On marketplace. Take a close look at the pic. Despite them being listed for four hours I took a shot but was too late. Hopefully someone here was the lucky one?

Don't believe so, they typically have the label below the filler. I did a double take as well and have a hard time telling from pictures or my memory. Typically need to put em side by side.

Bummer! You're correct on it not being a metallic, I believe they were all dated 7/61 and not all with that date were painted such. Does appear to be a transition E tho which would put it in the 62-63 range. None the less you missed em!... I'll just leave this here ðŸ˜‰

That Brown bomber would've been a nice addition to your collection. Sorry to hear that you were too late.

That wasn’t a brown bomber, I have one of those and a red hat Brooklure already.

Looking at the picture a little closer, you may be right. I thought it was Brown with a gold stripe. It does look like a dark blue fount now that i look at it again.

Could be a Turner as they made the Brooklure's.
