Sears and Roebuck appears to be made by Nulite or national stamping and electrical works. Nothing on terry’s site on it but shares possibly  a couple of parts with the comfort iron. Got it cheap so why not. 2F75FD87-A94C-45F3-BB32-0E3F9AA66F5D.jpeg  E7DE3F80-4716-4103-8713-CA004D784933.jpeg  1481CE5B-69F8-48C5-8AAE-3F027FD1FA4B.jpeg

I find irons all the time and I usually don’t give them much of I glance because there usually overpriced or common ones but this one has enough flare to it.

is it the comfort iron you are referring to? If so it shares the same handle same fount but different cap size valve is a different shape and the bottom has a different cut out . I don’t know how to link or I would have pulled it up.

Nice find, James, that has a very nice fancy look to it.
" Got it cheap so why not." That could be the motto of many here, James; most of us would have also brought it home, too.

Should we have an iron collectors syndicate?   Lol.  They are mostly incidental items I pick up on occasion. though I find them fascinating, Ive only ever lit one of mine.    I believe every collector should own at least one.

that one is closer than the one I found. But still some differences. The cut out is different in the front, the valve is still a different shape, the handle bracket is shaped different, and that one appears to have a bracket from handle to fount top, that’s interesting. Edit ps I just checked the site and both the ones on there have parts that are similar to mine.
