Hi all, this is my first post. I'm pretty new to old Coleman stuff, but I'm ramping up quickly. I found a 275A at a garage sale this weekend. It's my first non-220K from the early 80s. My pics are unfortunately too large to upload, so I'll get some more soon. Are there any other Boise or more generally Idaho/eastern Oregon members? I searched "Idaho" and didn't see anything specific. 20200801_190154_copy_997x1329.jpg  20200731_082224_copy_997x1329.jpg  20200801_190145_copy_712x949.jpg  20200731_080033_copy_997x1329.jpg

No, you just have to find a way to resize them smaller than that. Welcome from Texas.

[welcome], Adam, from Pennsylvania! Very nice looking lantern there; you'll find that model the object of some jokes here, but most feel it belongs in most collections.  I even have one, acquired from a fine member here who is no longer with us on this Earth.

As for other members in ID, one of our finest is Dean, a talented machinist and true gentleman.

Welcome Adam.  I am a fellow Idahoan.  Im in Kuna, just outside of Boise.  That is a great looking 275 you found.  Ive been waiting to trip over one with the picket glass myself.  We are in a great place to find lots of Coleman gear.  So many kids selling off Dad's garage gear.  Some kids dont appreciate the heritage... Oh well, more for us!  Lee

Same here. I found a pretty nice one on Facebook about 20-25 minutes from me and you think I had the brains to grab it? 35 bucks and nope. I didn’t.

Hi Adam and welcome from NC.  Great to have you here on the CCF.  That's a nice 275 (I hate the more vernacular moniker for these) and the picket globe and it being your birth month lantern are big plusses.

Welcome aboard, from another Idahoan. I'm down in Southern Idaho, but I've got family up Boise way, and a friend in Boise who collects stoves that is not internet-compatible.

There's a few of us down here as well, I know of several other collectors here in South Idaho and Northern Utah. One of them often beats me to the yard sales here locally. Guess I'll have to start getting up earlier.

Maybe one day we can have our own little get together.

Anywho, welcome aboard.

Far NE Oregon, here--Enterprise. Close by air, but a long ways by road. Welcome to the forum!

Looking at CL, there's good pickin's in the Boise area!
It's priceless until someone puts a price on it.

Gunhippie, you're absolutely right. There's a table and chair set that's very nice. Just a little out of my price range. I'm meeting a guy for a lantern tomorrow- he seems to be a "supplier" as I've already gotten a 426D and a 228K with a yellow plastic case from him for pretty fair prices and in great condition.
