Hey everyone! I recently acquired a used Exponent 442 and the metal legs that fold out are VERY loose. Is there a way to tighten them up? It looks to me like they are pop riveted to the body of the stove. Thanks for any help you can give me!

Can you hit or squeeze the rivets without denting the stove?

I think I might be able to.... I'll give it a go.

Set the closed end of the rivet on a solid surface and put a wide punch in the open end of the rivet. Give the punch a few taps with a hammer to flare the rivet out again. It will be good as new again.

Thanks for the suggestion, Rob! I will try it in a couple days when things slow down.
