I love the old stuff.
have you a Onan "expert" In your Engine group. I have a 1967 NH RV gen set that Runs and operates perfectly that I converted to run on Natural Gas for the house as back up. back in late 1990's   and I want to correct a battery over charge condition while Dinosaur Boards still offers replacements.

Sorry about that Kevin, that was the guy who owns these.

Bob, have you run across this section on Smokstak?  A lot of good and smart people there. I have a small flock of generators but not real up on the Onans. Hope this helps, E.

Smokstak?

I looked on the smokestack site and lots of great stuff I did not pursue it there yet. It looks like I need to register and subscribe for the yearly Fee of $20

It looked like a really nice show. Some great pieces too. 4hp Ohio, 5hp Samson and that inverted Davis.👍
If a little is good, more is better, too much is just right

There is a story on the Davis. It started out life as an air compressor and was modified into a hit and miss. It runs quite well. The opposed twin Witte is a homebrew also. The curved dash Olds was built by a collector out of leftover restoration parts and the only thing missing was an engine. In went a Fairbanks-Morse ZC. About the right horsepower and it sounds good pop pop pop pop pop driving.  E.

Not much Dan, it is T powered and I think that there is an A transmission behind it. It does sound great and is no slouch. I'll as for more details. E.
