Due Diligence Pays off - 2 weeks ago, I was surfing an online auction house and came across this Kamp Kitchn.  Includes six plates (trays?) and an aluminum coffee pot, but missing utensils.  It looks to be in good shape, but listed in an obscure category so I added it to my watch list.  I watched it all week and no bids.  Auction up at 6:05 on the 6th.  I figured people would snipe it at the last second, so withheld my bid until the last day.  I checked it on the 6th anticipating to toss my bid in along with others.  When I looked, the auction had ended - at 6:05 AM with no bids!!!!  I was kicking myself for not looking closer or at least tossing in a bid Earlier in the week.  I was so careless to let this slip by.

It was relisted but to my surprise, not in the correct category, but ion the same spot.  I tossed a bid on it and watched it all this week.  This morning I found out I won the auction with no other bids.   My wife's idea of camping now is staying at a hotel with no pool, so I will clean it up,  probably pick up some sort of matching spatula and fork and rehome it .  I know no valuations given here, and I checked eBay for sold items to get an idea of what to ask, but none were found.

Cheers,

Complexity unfamiliar with these; -is that a propane burner in the lid?  so it lays on it side and uses the skinny prop bottles?

I have one identical to that. Mine is missing the flatware as well. I have the trays and if I remember right, the cups and kettle. Id like to know what the flatware looked like as well.

Worthpoint shows one that looks to be complete.  I googled for it, but still no clear answer if it takes  prop canister,

They use the tall, thin propane bottles. The shield acts as a heat shield for the valve and top of the cylinder. I've had mine running a few times. The setup is actually kind of cool, seeing that it has the drop down door on the top side to access things on the back side and to act as a shelf. They don't weigh much either being aluminum.

Rob,  can you post a pic with a bottle in place for future posterity?  I could not find one anywhere, and even saw theories that it used a Coleman CF type tank?.

I'll try to remember to get out there and see if I can dig it out tomorrow. It's deep in the front of one of my cargo trailers that I store my clean goodies in. Come to think of it, it might be in one of the sheds.
