i have no good way to use a wok on my glass top stove in the house so
i set up the 413E when i want to stir fry.
these aren’t glamorous photos but you get the idea.
stir frying on a 413 is really perfect. the stove is big enough to accommodate the wok and the burner puts out plenty of BTU’s 1F0A55EC-08C0-4C35-9E26-34367E3E5352.jpeg  E7E89595-104F-4117-9B87-E168C7BDA404.jpeg  30EAFA0D-D43D-44C7-99BE-C1ACD5DCAA2F.jpeg  E482F075-0BF0-4675-8A88-BD097E08C8EF.jpegTofu cabbage and onions

I'll have to try the Wok on the 413, currently use it on a CA Solus with roarer burner with the Wok suspended slightly above by the base portion of a cheap charcoal bbq.

All be darn. I never thought about using a roarer for wok cooking. I’ll have to give it a go with my 45.

thanks for the comment

Buzz,
This is what I use, base of an old 3 piece bbq/smoker thingy.
You can see the Solus inside and the bits of plywood to the right are used for height positioning to suit heat control as the base is a little tall for the Solus to achieve max heat when at lowest setting.
Using the plywood for positioning saves me trying to use the bleed valve to control burner out put, it gets rather toasty in there with the kero BTU's 🙂
Open base with the legs stops the fount getting too hot.
(hopefully that makes sense)

i like tofu. it was a process to season the tofu. as you prolly know tofu has no discernible flavor of it’s own.
i added peanut butter, soy sauce, fish sauce, toasted sesame oil, Tony’s and black pepper and hot vinegar to get some zip.

turned out pretty good

i’m using a shorter domed lid just to see if it makes any difference when steaming.
doesn’t seem to make any difference.

i usually eat stir fry with sticks but lately i’ve said the heck with it.
using sticks by the way is a more civilized way of eating...

The vision in my head from reading the title is very disturbing.
I do second the Spam over that non meat stuff.
