I've been searching for my Bday Lantern for 10 years, did Coleman make Lanterns in November of 69? Thanks

A quick Google search shows a catalytic heater made in 11/69 ðŸ˜

I personally have a 12/69 200A but I've sold most of my F series off or I would've checked them sorry. Check Canadian lanterns. I had to get a Canadian lantern to find my birthday. Good luck on your search👍

I have been looking for a 200 in 05/71, and have found months near that but not that one. I’m convinced they didn’t have a production run that year in May

My youngest brother's birthday lantern is 10/69, I found one about a year ago.  What I haven't found is an 11/88 for my son, seems like there aren't any out there.

Jayrock,  Same for me - been looking for years for an 11/69 for my birthday too and can't find it either.  Plenty of 10/69s and 12/69s.  I even did a search of the Wichita newspaper archives for a possible factory strike - didn't find anything though.   Would love to find one someday....

Usually, if I'm looking for a certain date and can't find it, I look to see if there are some dated one month earlier and one month later. If I find both, I assume that I won't find the date that I'm looking for. Coleman stamped a ton of bottoms at once and then used them for multiple months until the supply ran low. If they had enough to last for more than a month, no bottoms were stamped for that month. I've been looking for 10-77 and 12-77 with no luck. I've found the surrounding dates though.

Like I said above, you need to find you some Canadian friends...

You might look up the Sears lanterns of that year. They were made by Coleman. Other than that you might find  a 413 or 425 stove.

I have one a month older than my brother, 8/73...and Im thinking that one has never been fired.  Definitely not, since it has been mine.
I thought I had one from 67 but just not my month. Id like to find a 7/67. and a 5/65 for the wife.
I have 13 lanterns, and 4-5 stoves, I haven't looked at the stoves yet to see what they are dated. I know one of those is 1961, given to me (and bought new) by the guy across the street, I think it might have been used once before I got it. I lit it once myself last summer, took off just like it should.
I haven't taken that one camping yet because its just so clean. I seem to think I have a couple more stashed elsewhere that I haven't uncovered, I know that Iused to have 2-3 426 stoves that are MIA. and 413s too. somehow all the stoves I can find are 425s.....

Auctions have been a casualty of this COVID BS this year/ but they are a very common item at the local and (usually) every other Sunday sales. I have gotten a couple from there over the years, but I have 13 now, I don't need 130 of them, have no place for them. They usually go dirt cheap.
