I can’t remember the last time I found a lantern at my local flea market. But, desperate times call for desperate measures!

I think it’s cool.
My friends don’t call me “Lantern/lampie Levi”
for nothin’,if they did call me that.

Looking for bday lanterns 8/38, 8/41,
10/25, and 8/07

The biggest lie I tell myself is
”I don’t need to write that down, I’ll remember it.”

Levi beat me to it.  They're cool alright.

I didn't intend it as a compliment.  Mine was always pretty cool.  Not something desirable for a heater.

Good luck with your project.

I desire it. Let me rephrase that. I desire every gpa ever produced by Coleman.

Hot Diggity, I think this thing will put out an adequate amount of heat here in Florida.  In fact, I hope I can tone it down a little.  Those 68 degree winter days can be a killer.  LOL  I was bored and it's got a three piece fuel cap that's probably worth the $3 I paid for the heater.

BTW, I thought I had discovered the holy grail of my Saturday lantern hunting in an inverted JC Higgins in really nice condition.  Until I picked it up and saw the electric cord hanging from it.  Curses!

I've seen Franks built on those founts, but they have to run at low pressure or the bottom swells.

I'm surprised the big catalytic heaters work so poorly when the little Jon-E and others will heat for 12 hours on a fill.

Hadn’t seen any lanterns in years at the local flea mkt,  then one day I spotted what I thought was a 242C, ended up being a 246B. You never know.

A catalytic?  Yup, a true sign of desperation.  🙂  I saw two catalytics at the flea today.   One has shown up for weeks, and the other has just begun it's time sitting at the flea.

Flammable liquids, open flame, what could go wrong?
