I picked  up a real  nice 237 today off of CL for cheap and was curious when did Coleman stop stamping the gennys ? This one was on the lantern. It reads:

Sunrise Logo with 11 rays
COLEMAN
MADE IN THE U.S.A

There's another thread here:

I am unable to find a post that had a number of photographs and discussion of US vs Can product.

I was such a good Eel and did not wake the other thread with the following:

I don’t have any info on the dates, but I found one on a cheap 237 from Craigslist too! Mine was on an undated type 2B (I think). Please excuse my dirty fingers.

I have never saw a generator that was stamped. Too bad for me I sure think it’s a neat detail.

Now that's funny! Good one, Steve.

I recently got a US 237 dated 1963 with a stamped genny. I have a couple other CF gens that are stamped too. They are older than 1963.

The wrap around Made in USA stamp Dave shows is pretty uncommon.

I’ve found the Made in Canada stamp the long way on the gen fairly often on Canadian lanterns.

I knew that one was coming after I made the post, just didn't know how long it would take. Good one
