This has been in the works for quite a while. It's a custom Prentiss Wabers 742-43 made for Sears in the mid to late 1930's. A number of fellow collectors and craftsmen helped turn this into a reality. The lantern itself was part of a 3-PW lantern deal that was offered to me by Stephen Adzema. This gorgeous fount was originally green painted brass. Zach Whitesel nickel plated the fount, and when I saw how nice it came out, I had him nickel plate the burner frame and collar as well. The vent was masterfully re-porcelained in lovely red and white by Jeff Gaylord and his crew at Independence Porcelain Enamel. It has a new stainless steel valve stem, fabricated by Dean Williams, machinist extraordinaire and CCF admin.  The plain glass globe was purchased from none other than Fred Kuntz, and decorated by yours truly.
This may be the closest I'll ever get to owning a Red Ted, even though it is about 30 years older than the real Teds. I couldn't be more thrilled with the way it looks and runs. My wife really likes it too. Thanks for looking. [KudxE0K]

Thanks.  I agree about the shininess of the nickel.  Zach’s work at Custom Chrome Plating was incredible—too bad he’s not working there any longer.  I’ve had other plating work done by others, but nothing even comes close to this.
