I have been working on this one for awhile, between spring yard work and getting the boat ready it has been sitting for two weeks just to get fueled up and lit up 😩

That's sweet! Stop doing that silly yard work. You've got more important things to do. 🙂

Thanks Steve, although he might not agree with my clean up of the frame, burner, fuel cap, etc. Dean DeGroff schooled me on the fount and collar preservation and he was right on.

I’ll never see one of those Greg so I had custom globes made from Justin of the bcfs old logo. Had it made in a 335 200 and 220 size. Super nice globe with a Smokey on the back inside a maple leaf.

That turned out really nice Greg.  How did you clean the frame?

Great work Greg
Good idea keeping the original paint on the fount and collar.

Great job -- I really like the look of the crusty red paint on those old USFS lanterns.

Nice looking FS lantern. What's the date on it ? I would think a small window , very late 1920's to no later than very early 1930's before the embossed ones came out.

Looks great Greg! Wish my rim stamped FS lantern had that much paint still on it. Mine doesn't look to have any original paint on the base rest though. Think most was removed on fount by PO.
