Either globe prices have gone sky high or I need to try an auction with multiple items. Hopefully someone read the ad and saw these were used and not NOS globes. With tax and shipping that’s around $60 per globe.

Selling Used globes pictured on a case of new globes is interesting!
Imagine buying on impulse or as a non English speaker and receiving those!

Used to be a guy on the bay selling nos dodge truck parts along with used. 1978 Military grilles were a thing if nos. He sold nos ones along side used od painted versions. There would be a few of each pictured in each auctions. One word of verbiage different between the different auctions. Not in the title but description only.

I knew it but he got me on a used grille for 500$ Late one night. I had three in hand already. Hate to admit it but instead of paying I messaged him saying I lost my job the next morning. Offered to pay fees but he was ok with it he just relisted  and snookered someone else. He was a known entity in the Mopar community and a month or two later he was killed in a tragic accident. Three months later the executor of his estate started jacking me up to complete the transaction. The good news was he had cancelled the sale. Not proud to say this but if you attempt to deceive you might make me lie. Both as equally reprehensible in my view.

Thank you
Kevin

To me a lamp without a shade is creepy!

Maybe they really wanted the globe box? It is probably a lot rarer than the globes.

I've been noticing the red letter bulge globes bringing more money than a 200a with one on it... What's up with that? I've also noticed a shortage a bulge globes of late. American mantle was out for awhile (I believe back in stock now) It was even hard to get a MIC one last I checked... Everyone break their small bulge globes on the same day?

I was shopping 355 globes, have 4 coming or in hand already, one seller wants $65 each on the bay.  Nabbed the last two that OCP had.  I've just been jumping on shades or globes that I see are much cheaper than others listed, usually the ones I pass over have shipping costs too much.

Wow!  I did not realize that there was such a demand for a NOS globe box.  I guess I will need to post mine with the three NOS globes in it on eBay.

I don’t know the seller but he seems legit. He did explain they were used and the box was basically not related to the globes is so many words. So hopefully it’s all good the buyer just really needed some globes. I think the buyer could have rounded up 6 globes for @$40 each instead of $60 if he tried to. So maybe the box is worth $120. Looks like 3 are arched Pyrex and 3 are just red letter.

There was another box of used 200A red letter globes that sold for $360 as well lately and they went offshore.
