Looks like it's a day for lamps.
I picked up a trio from an antique store last week.  The CQ with no date, 118 Slant, and a Model A (I think) Air-O-Lite.

Well I spent some time today working on the CQ.  It was really in great shape when I bought it.  I spent some time polishing the nickel and more time working on the fill plug that was letting pressure back through it.  Finally got all that fixed up and it was holding pressure and passing air.  So, without even touching anything else, I lit it up.

Runs surprisingly well for being so old.  I think it was well cared for in it's previous life.

Here's the trio of lamps as purchased.  The slant needs some parts so that'll be on the back burner for now.

And some pics of the CQ

Thanks for looking!

Nice score for sure! That CQ is very nice. The Air-O-Lite looks like it will shine up nicely too. I hope to run into a lamp one day.

Thanks guys.  I was torn on which to tackle first.  I totally agree that the Air-O-Lite is the better looking of the two.  I'll try to get into it this week.  If it's as nice as the CQ, it shouldn't take too much to get it burning.

Check the air o lamp fount for cracks. Notorious for cracks. Nice grab on the lamps. Hope the air o is good. Great lamps. Even the little knurled screw on top to hold the bell.  Congrats.  Parts for the slant shouldn't be a problem to find.

Thanks!  I don’t see any cracks on the Air-O but there may be some corrosion on the bottom that could be bad. I need to investigate further when I get a chance.
