With all the 334 talk we've had lately I thought I'd light mine up this morning.

Imagine that style of shade with mica inserts!
I really like running these outside on the deck.
Many lanterns can be overpowering, these not as much
Thank you
Kevin
I frighten easily!

My current shade is Coleman!!

To me a lamp without a shade is creepy!

Thanks guys, yes Kevin Mica inserts on one of these would be beautiful.

I don't know what it is about the 334s but I feel like they should have the bug screen on them to look complete... So I'm on the look out for one of them to install on this one. Protect a lite? Don't remember what they were called...

I've been on the lookout too, they seem to all end up in Moreno Valley! I have been pleasantly surprised having zero mantle failures this summer running lamps on the deck.
Thank you!

I could see where bugs on mantles could become a problem. During the 4th of July the vents on my lanterns looked like the inside of a florescent light diffuser, bugs everywhere!!!

Looks nice, Toby!  And real nice of Dominic to offer it up to you.  IIRC the model number of the Protect-A-Light is 334 1/2.  Just in case it ever comes up in a trivia game!  😁
