Hey all! Just wanted to share a few of the finds I made the other day. First is a 1926 Quick Lite. This is the first time I fiddle with one of these so I am looking forward to getting it going again and shining it up. Second is a 1963 247 CPR that I have been on the hunt for forever. This one has barely been run as the vent is almost perfect besides the few chips where the bail attaches and the top nut. The burner frame casting is still brass in colour. The fount is spotless on the bottom and inside 🙂  enjoy! 20200622_230156_compress17.jpg  20200620_214302_compress75.jpg

Wow!

Those will clean up nicely!
It's priceless until someone puts a price on it.

Just a hint, those little tabs are fragile.

Thanks everyone! I had a few chances to get a CPR 247 but every time I would message the sellers, they wouldn't respond so this time I finally got a hold of one and it was worth the wait! I'm not one to have shelf queens but I think that one definitely will go on display inside besides the few light ups here and there 🙂 I started polishing up the quick lite and it's looking better but I have a few other lanterns that need to be buttoned back up before I tear into these!

Which are the tabs you are referring to, Tigersfan?

Thank you! I need to do some reading up on the old quick lite models so I can understand what a rebuild involves. It seems quite similar to a 220 besides the differences in the valve and lack of f/a tube! I also need to find myself a pump for it

Hey, thank you, Donnie! Is there a CPR 247 syndicate on the forum?!
