It is a rare one.  There will be an article in the Jan 2016 Coleman Light - The ICCC newsletter about this lamp.  A good reason to join the ICCC,

Just a few of these lamps are known to exist.

Contact Dr. Terry Marsh about this lamp.  He will want to know the date on the bottom.

I don't believe Model 129A is rare but rather we've only recently recognized them and started to talk about them. In a short time we've learned of several of them and I'm sure more will surface.

What we need are two images of each lamp please: a side image including the decal (or its remains) and an image of the date numbers on the bottom of the fount. Please send images to me through the private messaging or post them here.

Thanks,
Terry

Found this April 1940  0/4 model 129A at an antique mall in Berlin Ohio yesterday. Has the original hang tag. I loved the look of the decal and couldn't leave it behind. Didn't realize it was an uncommon model until another member informed me on FB this morning.

Dave,

I have discovered that this lantern is not nearly as rare as was first thought.

There are multiple lanterns that have recently been found and documented.
