I just purchased a 1966 511A700 that was in the original box with the registration card and manual for about $50.  It is in almost mint condition.  I fired it up today and it worked amazing.

I was just curious about what temperatures these things get to?

Maybe you could put an oven thermometer on top of it to at least get a rough idea.  Those type of heaters aren't known for heating up a room, rather, something nice to have nearby when seated, or even under a chair.
