I like my 457 but the little 458 I believe would be my favorite if I could find one. Nice restoration👍

Pretty sure the generator is always inline with the gauge. Mine was/is as were most others I've seen. Yours looks really close.

Very nice clean up! I like the HGP's. I hope to come across on some day. Did you put a clear on the tank? Or just polish?
Ken.
Looking for Bday lanterns, 10/83, 11/84 and 10/2011.

Thats a nice one Sean.I'm a big fan of saving the  original finish too. Have you had any luck finding old time stove bolts to replace twisted off bolts on HGPs? I went to a major nuts and bolts retailer and asked for stove bolts, they had no clue what I was talking about. All the old timey Hrdwr stores are gone. How times has changed.

Thx Jack.  The bolts I can find locally, but for the square nuts I go online.

Nice save.  I like the way you did the tank. A HGP is another item on my list to hopefully run across someday

That definitely looks better than my 458. Eventually, I'll get to it, but for now it's just waiting it's turn.
