Not sure if I can make it, but I wanted to know the date just in case I could.
Tentatively going to visit my brother near Hershey sometime in Feb/March
and maybe I could do both.
Will let you know as it gets closer

Thanks

Sounds good.  I have 3 Coleman cots after 2 bedrooms, the RV and 4 lazyboys. 2 recline 2 don't. All in all we can sleep 13 inside yet only one bathroom. I can also park up to 15 RV's. It might be like hunting camp. Once again all are welcome. Location is near Carversville, PA.The light up table is now slightly mossy and silvered. After this it's time to move it inside. Looks like it's a thousand years old. See ya'll then.

Lem, I know driving will take you 45 minutes but if you fly into Van Sant (the grass runway is clear as of now) That's only a 10 minute flight. We could pick you up and have you here in 5. This gives you an extra 1/2 hour to help me fettle this PW bighat. Or just borrow a helicoptor. You know where to land. Wish Krazyhorse was still in the mix. It will be good to see all you guys again.

A waitress I know just came back from a 2 week vacation in Florida and was showing some vids of the beach, tiki bars, tanned bodies and such. We're up here chipping ice and they're down there buying it. I hear ya Steve I'm waiting for some warm days ahead too. As it is I can't move that 30' slab of Oak for there's 4" of snow and ice on it now though the shop will be 80 the house 65. Let's see what the other guys think and maybe take a vote?

Sounds good guys I just hope Steve can make it. Lem might be knee deep in airplane engine oil but he's not that far away. We have 3 refridgerators here so no worries about coolers and such. I'm going to Elys' farm Thursday and grab us some ribs and steaks. I can get marinated venison too. No need to tow stoves here the attic over the shop is full of them. I fixed the Anderson 6 burner in the kitchen as well but I heard Jazzmine and her girlfriends might want to fix us a big sit down diner. I think the kids have wifi up there now too. Also we have 3 Christmas trees to light up for a 11 second bonfire Saturday night!

I copy, John...that sounds good.  I won't be there till sometime Saturday, since I work Friday until 10 PM, so Sat. I won't exactly be up at the crack of dawn, either.
Now I've got to study a map and try to remember which way I went out there several years ago.

Ya Steve, There was an empty part in our hearts missing you and Lem but not empty stomachs. Bruces' chile and Bills' jambalyla was fit for a king yet when night settled in and our digestive tracts kicked in to 3rd gear there were problems in that little farmhouse. Nevermind the Ash trees trying to take us out so much as the snoring and whatnot rattling the pictures off the walls though I slept like a baby.

We had 21 lanterns lit one night, and the shed was over 90 degrees.

I will post pictures tomorrow.

Paul came from Connecticut and adkbill's brother Dave came from Hershey.

Everyone had a great time.

Thanks Yogi!

Pictures of John's over 200 year old farmhouse and attached barn/shed-woodshop.

The tree removers showed up to remove dead ash trees across from John's farmhouse.  They were interested in our lanterns.

We cooked a big pot of chili on an AGM gas stove.

Adkbill made a big pot of rice and pulled pork.

Paul had a big flat of macaroni and cheese - home made.

Bill's brother Dave stayed in his motor home.

We all had a blast, and thanks to John and his son Grant for their hospitality.

We were able to get some outside time as the sunny sky and temperatures in the mid 40s were enjoyed.

No one wanted to fall asleep, they were afraid the Mastiff would eat them.

Josie and Bella patrolled the grounds.
