Even in Canada this is a pretty rare model. This one is dated 1/32 which is different from the others out there which are 1/3 only but believe another 32 date stamp was found in AU. The stamping on the tank is way off center but it just adds to its character I guess. Has a reddish color fuel knob where my other one is black. The frame is tin dipped but I only gave it a light cleaning since it’s going to sport an older mica. Just have to replace the fuel cap gasket and pump leather now.

forgot to add a pic of the pump, it’s angled like a B but the filler cap isn’t sunken in like a A or quicklite models, which means you can’t piece this together from various models and is unique to Cdn l227, even the US l227 is different as it has a straight pump. It'll look like it just came out of the box once it's sporting new mica.   How did you clean the burner tubes?  I see bright polish like that occasionally and always wonder if I could do as well with a vibratory media tumbler.

I added a pic and comment on orig post regarding the angled pump.

For the burner parts I just did a quick soak in vinegar.

Chuck and @major_man
Aren't those tubes nickel?
You can get jewelry shine with your vibratory tumbler. Use stainless pins and a jewelers mix, no citric acid Lil bit of dawn but after you soak them in lye and quick clean them.
