well I finally had a couple of hours to get out to the shed and work on something. Here is one of the $5.00 lamps that I picked up a few weeks ago

added some fuel/mantles and a Mellon Shade. Burned great for 4 hours

it sure feels great to finally get something to burn again

Very nice Jan. Is the mellon shade a currently produced item, and if so, who is a seller, or source? Looks great on a CQ!

Mike.

Lovely work Jan, as always. Makes me want to ask, how often do you guys see the Silver Duchess model up there? It is near the top of my lamp hit list.

Nice job Jan.  I need to come up there next summer to see your garden.  It looks pretty good in the background.

its not a Coleman Shade, but I found it last year for a good price, its the same size as a Coleman. Bob posted a link to a shade store last week, the Melon shade was in the pictures. Ed, I have only ever seen 2 Silver Dutchess's in the wild, I have one. BTW there are 2 versions of this lamp

Mike, good garden this year, I still have carrots, beets, cabage, chard, kale and others that we leave in all winter. The frost doesn't hurt them too much
