It didn't make it in time for Canada Day, but here's some pictures of my new 7/37 Canadian 228B. It has been awhile since I've seen one of these for sale, but now that I have made some room on my shelves, I treated myself to something nice.
It still could use a bit of cleanup, but it looks pretty good as is. After running a set of late production Peerless mantles made in the Philippines, I switched over to some Aladdin's for a brighter light in the last picture.

Thanks a bunch to Josh Clark for letting it go and to OregonMichael for posting it on that auction site.

Thanks for all the compliments guys.
It was high on my list as well.
Mike - I can't take credit for the cleanup - it came that way.
I just want to polish off the finger smudges I put on it when I was unpacking and getting it fueled & lit.

They don't come up very often and I had just sold some stuff so I was serious about getting it.
To be honest I was happy with the price and even happier when I learned that it was OregonMichael selling it for his friend Josh Clark.

Glad you got it Bill.
IMHO it went for a great price based on condition,  like you said, when was the last one you've seen one, even on eBay.
