I seem to recall some discussion about the 200A burgundy lanterns color varied a bit during their run.  Awhile ago I rescued a rusting Oct 61 burg.  The base and lower part of the cylinder wall were looking  rather rusty. The rust issue has been dealt with, and it is now sporting black Rustoleum primer.  Can someone recommend a rattle can spray-paint brand/shade for it?  I'd like it to be as close to the original color as possible.
Thanks all
Willy

Rust-Oleum gloss Merlot has been recommended by other folks. That's what I got for my Berg, but I haven't had time to try it yet

If yours is already in full primmer this won’t work but most auto paint stores can computer  match the paint and put it in a rattle can. Usually somewhere @ $15.

Rust-Oleum gloss Merlot I believe is as close as you'll get without getting paint mixed. Here is a custom/frank I did, and the paint matched with an AGM vent perfectly...I do not own any variation of a Burg yet... So this is mine ðŸ˜

By the way..I believe Rust-Oleum may have discontinued that color... So that may make things difficult as well...

One more thing, putting on black primer will make the top coat darker. May not be an issue for you.

Could be, I had not looked personally, just read somewhere they were doing away with it.
