Now I just need to get it running.  Hopefully the fount is solid.  I cleaned a lot of rust out of it.  I need a gasket before I can dunk test it.  Anyone have any idea what gasket to use in the fuel cap?  I putting together a OCP order and I’m hoping they have one that will work.  Thanks.
It took a lot of polishing, but it shined right up.  Luckily this one has a brass fount and other brass parts.  The other one pictured below is mostly steel.  I have not attempted to clean it up yet.  Not sure how nice it will come out.  Thanks for looking. Thanks for the compliments everyone.  Took a lot of hand polishing.  Thanks for the advice on the generator Bruce.  I’m hoping this one works.  I have not figured out the valve/cap yet, so I still don’t know if it holds pressure.  I ordered one of every size of gasket from Fred Kuntz, and I think I found one that will work, but I’m not sure what to do with the check valve/ball valve.

Wow, nice work. Maybe a viton o ring from the auto parts store will fit. Ask for the a/c box to make a selection.

Thanks.  Hand polishing is the only safe method I’ve found for nickel.  Any time I’ve used a pretreatment soak, it has left the nickel dull.  Thank you for the advice on gaskets too!

Nice, find a source for a washer or did you have to use a oring?  None of my washers fit, so used a oring.
