Does anyone know about what years this stand would have been made?
I am pretty sure it has original black paint and the legs are 26 inches long

As I understand it, that design started in 1927 and that black was the first color.  It was to match the stove color at the time.  I don't know when they went to the next color.

There is something seriously cool about that!   Looks like something Thomas Edison and Henry Ford had along on some of their famous road trips.

Thank
It is cool. I have a couple of aluminum ones that are useful but this one is nicer and has the lid rest. Price was right. Made up for not finding any lanterns for a while.

That's in better shape, paint-wise, than any of the later green ones I've found!
It's priceless until someone puts a price on it.

They were made from around 1927 to 1932, when the brown stove became standard. That's a nice one, mine was repainted green by a previous owner. There's a difference in the top of the legs that makes a repainted (green to black) stand suspicious.

#10 High Stands were painted to match the stoves of the time they were made. If it's black, it goes with a black stove.

I figured I would never find one. I must have walked by this one for a year at a local second hand store. They moved things around and I happened to see it. No price on it so I asked what they wanted after telling them what it was. He said he didn't even know we're it came from and sold it to me for 5 bucks.

Nice stand. Alexx we would need to have horseshoes to find 1 in Canada.  And I thought I was lucky getting a stand for my Basford #6
