Hit a couple yard sales after my exercise ride, first two yielded nothing, but spotted a Coleman suitcase at the third, so went over, then spotted a blue lantern, a stress crack free AGM, negotiated a price fair to the seller.  Looked at the stove, a 426NL, so while the co-sellers wife went to get her husband to see what they wanted/and check the bay prices, I peddled home for some $$$ and my truck.
Mica on the chimney is pretty decent, has a spare, used genny.  Stove has paint curling off on the inside, a quick wipe with a rag will work for me.
Something to do today.
Lantern was given to the seller, believe they had the stove for quite awhile.  He teaches fly fishing technique.  Older couple, in their 70's.  They can be seen walking quite often, community here is small.

I can’t find a local 426nl for the life of me. That’s the only suitcase stove that I’m actively looking for. Maybe have more luck when I move out of Ca.

The Empire I got a year ago was a block away from this sale.
Working on freeing the pricker lever now, can't move the two screws holding the cage down.   Air goes thru the genny.

Per Terry Marshs site, the AGM is a 287 with carburetor valve.  Cool!
Lunch, working on freeing the genny and pricker rod lever, cage screws too, to check for cob webs in the air tube.  BB dance already.

Thank you guys.  Finally got the genny (R55) off, working on it now, the pricker shaft was stuck too, so broke it loose with some heat after taking it out of the genny.  The air tube and mixing chamber are tight too, so to avoid damaging them, will leave them.  Did get flames out of the burners, so think I'm good to go with no cobwebs.

Fired both up, lantern ran great.  Stove had a issue with the air stem, hard to screw in, what small amount it would go.  Seems there was a tiny bit of solder on the upper most threads.   Cleaned the threads what I could and was then able to screw the air stem in the normal amount.  Tried the stove on the profane adapter, what a fire breather!  Other than messing with the stove air stem, just oiled up the pump cup and sucked some of the old fuel out and added fresh fuel to the stove.
The lantern does have a different sound than a Coleman, even with the R55 genny.
What to do on Sunday now.  ?

Nice scores Duane. That AGM is sweet and the 426NL is really nice. I had to paint mine to make it look half ways nice. They are great stoves.

Guess I could have taken one more pic of the lantern, showing the numerous holes AGM puts on the vent and collar.

Gonna clean the burners and bunsen on Sunday, that should help the flame a little on the stove.
Here I've been cutting a few lanterns out to reduce my lantern count.
Hay Andy!

Thank you.  Stove runs better today after cleaning the rust off the burners and bunsen, cleaning most of the grease off with Dawn.
