Got this from @dday about a month ago and was kind of intrigued by it - even if it is Kero 🙂
Note: Imber Research is the export version of the Bialaddin.

Took a little research as to how to get it going and with some help from the UK guys at CPL (Classic Pressure Lamps) I figured out how to run it.
However, when I tried to get away on the cheap with Asian mantles, the tie strings were just too delicate to be of much use.  I re-ordered Tilley clones w/Thorium from Juliands on the 'Bay and they got here in a couple of weeks.

Nice that it came with the original IR globe and I really liked the slide-up pre-heat cup.

That’s a nice one Bill! That’s the first Bialaddin I’ve seen in the two years I’ve been collecting. The color of the fount and vent pair nicely.

Very nice, Bill, it looks quite bright...reminds me of my Vapalux, and wouldn't you know it, also from Dan.
My British kero lanterns are among my favorites.

Great find. I like these more than Tilleys.

I've got a model 315 and a model 320 with that colour scheme.

I've had the 315 sitting on the shelf for a couple of years with all the new parts sitting in the globe waiting to be installed.

However the 320 works fine and it's one of my best running keros.

Thanks guys
I was lucky to get one that had no mechanical issues.
The design is actually pretty simple - especially the burner "cap", which they call a spigot.
Once I found out how to light it and got good quality mantles, it worked like a champ.

@Gasman64  The lighting instructions I got from base-camp.co.uk   are titled "Lighting procedure for the Vapalux & Bialaddin Lanterns"

They are in written form at

https://www.base-camp.co.uk/instructions%20Vlux.htm

However, there are several Youtube videos as well.  Some better than others.

Exceptional buy there Bill! I've seen and own a couple Imber Research kero heaters but never a lantern. Kind of scarce IMO.

They are fun to run. The original globe is a big deal to me as well. Wow.
