Just getting started, so please accept my apologies if this is answered somewhere else. I have a 228F that will need some paint. Are there custom Coleman colors somewhere, or do we have to settle for the closest match...?  Click image for larger version - Name: 0A3E6113-FDEA-4A15-BA78-C21E8B4D768E.jpeg, Views: 33, Size: 27.27 KB

I believe I used Rust-Oleum dark hunter green on my newer Coleman stuff. I'll double check when I get back to the shop tomorrow.

The Rust Oleum Dark Hunter Green is as close as you can get. Do not use the Krylon Dark Hunter Green. It is a lot darker and does not match as well to the Coleman green.

The color of the founts varied over the years and time will fade paint so - if you can get close that is fine if you can live with it.

IMO, the 220/228E and prior colors were a bit duller than the later paint jobs plus you have the green metal flake of 1962(?).
