I picked up a 12/51 Christmas today from Harry Stratton, at Gettysburg. I picked it up as a project for a buddy.
(Thanks Harry!)
Not much green left on the fount, but is certainly worthy of a repaint.
Does anyone know if the Rustoleum Hunter Green is the best match for the Christmas green, or is there a better match, such as Krylon Kelly Green (indicated for stoves)?

It seems to me that the Christmas green had a bluer cast to it than later Coleman green founts.

I did a search, didn't find anything specific to the Christmas green paint.
I'd appreciate advice on best match to Christmas green.

Thanks!

I have only repainted one x-mas lantern and it was acceptable and may turn out nicer with age. The ones on the left and right are original and the one in the middle was repainted.  Click image for larger version - Name: AFEDF7B2-87C5-4DC2-BE6D-E7E50C5A3EB5.jpeg, Views: 94, Size: 114.26 KB Click image for larger version - Name: 634AF9EA-5D0A-455E-989D-F9B5571356A8.jpeg, Views: 91, Size: 96.98 KB

Rubing, I would love to know if you took the cap off the can, placed it right next to the painted Fount.. is it a perfect match to the cap 🙂?
