So I got this Seafoam 236 that I’m starting to clean up and it has a made in the USA disk on it. What one should it have ? Surely they wouldn’t have a USA disk on it originally would they ? It also says mantles not mantle on it. It does have the proper square valve hole. thanks in advance CC97890A-2853-4172-9487-8490A584FCC1.jpeg

James what does the fount say on it? Canada or USA?
Early US used the plural "mantles" on all lanterns. Pretty sure there were US seafoam 236's. Because I have a seafoam US 237.
Of course US 237's (and 236's) did not use the square shaft.
I have a replacement valve for a US 236.  It uses the word "Mantles" in the plural.

James, that is the 236 you got from me, right?  If so I believe I have your correct Canada disc here and you have the disc off a 220B I have here.  I think they got switched by the PO as they were both in the same lot of lanterns I got.  Please confirm yours is the square shaft, not splined, right?

This Canada disc does say “mantles” plural...don’t know if that is right for your lantern....maybe someone else here will know.

If you like I can send this Canada disc to you as I have obtained a correct USA disc for my 220B...good news for you is the made in Canada disc is in much better condition!

Send me a PM confirming your address and i’ll Mail the disc to you.
