Sure, Jan, I remember he went to the German collector's gathering some years ago.
He also needed some info. from me a while back, too.

I miss CDW, he left several years ago (great guy in Winnipeg, have spent hours on the phone with him), and there's the occasional visit from fatherof31970 (Ed).

One really unique guy that's gone is illcommandante; his posts were a real hoot!

There's a bunch I miss that got booted off, but I won't share their names...most were my friends, LOL!

By the way, Jan, I miss you posting like you used to.  Glad I met you at Lake George, and when you're not around for a while, I hope you are well.

Steve, I'll always remember how the CCF took up a collection for the Joplin, MO tornado victims, and we entrusted the total to Bubba for donation to a charity  knowing what a good heart he had.  Here's a few of him:

Gier - I often wonder too, he started about the same time as me on here and collected some nice samples.

itsawhalefish - aka Sean. I email with him every couple of months. He is doing well, very busy with family and work. He has only a few GPA items currently as he is (was) into very old style wick lamps.

PaulM - he is also fine. I email him once in a while as I have met him a couple of times (where I came away with quite a few things and a lighter wallet!). We hoped to see him this summer in the UK, but due to covid we abandoned our vacation plans. He is still selling on eBay. Last things I got from him were Aladdin lamp parts.
Ian - Looking for these dates 7/82, 7/92, 8/93, 9/03, 11/05, 5/17

I remember Bubba calling me at home about a check valve tool. Nice guy.
Also remember these characters called "The Three Amigos". Couldn't forget them.
I was one of the guys who migrated over from Frank Bebb's "Old Town Coleman Bulletin Board". Steve R, Jan, Murff and Cigar Mike were there. Funny thinking about what we collected back then. There wasn't a lot to choose from. Gave us the impression that they were drying up. Boy. talk about wrong.

I used to be on Franks Old Town Coleman bulletin board too. notice a lot of people who were there aren't here now. Or maybe just changed user names like myself.

John I remember meeting you there. Thien got a real job in the produce department at Von's the last time I saw him.
I think he also got T-boned driving out of his driveway. He lives only blocks away so I should try and check on him.

I miss Bubba. Think of him often. We met in Whichita at ICCC convention and became friend. Bottom pic is he and I lighting 228E my wife pulled out of back of Murph's truck  from raffle she won at ICCC convention in Seattle. I've got a 220E birthday lantern and handy gas plant he gave me.
