It had one bid of $5 until the last couple seconds. The seller said the paint was still liquid and the ball rattled. Hopefully the winner will get someone to pump some air into it and get some paint made up to match it.

I've got several of the cans, not red though, if anyone would like one for their collection, I can try and get some pictures and check the colors.

(well, I do have red, but it is not for sale.)

I would be interested in a can if you have extras Warren. I don't have much of the cool extras like that. I've never seen a rattle can of factory paint.

I would love to find some of those waterslide decals. I have a couple mint greenie 200As that I would try them on.

Here are pictures of mine.  All but the red could be for sale.   I've only found cans in the wild 2 times in 15 years of searching.

Those are cool Warren. What would the sandlewood and beige color be used on?

Coleman touch-up paint? Canopy? Enquiring minds want to know!

Could be for coolers or jugs or even campers.   I've seen a part number for the Sears paint colors also, but have never run across any of those. (yet 😉 )

I had one that we think was Gold Bond, but Mike (OCP) got it.

I doubt any of the paint is usable but I have not tried to spray any.

I bet if the paint is still liquid and the ball rattles when you shake it ( shows that the paint mixes) that is it still good. You can pump air back into the can if the air has leaked out.

I don't think air is used as a propellant in those rattle cans. And how would you get that propellant back into the can...just wondering?

There are several methods on YouTube on how you can do it. I buy paint from an automotive paint store in a rattle can. They mix the paint and put it in the can and add compressed air as the propellant.

Maybe they don’t use regular air!! But I wonder if a paint store could pump whatever propellant they use when the make up ones like I buy?
