This is my testing dummy as I don't want to mess up it's counterpart.  Pip and pump tube seal replaced to make this one work. Now, burning for your viewing pleasure an Aladdin PL-1.

Love these. Good choice of mantles too. You can run the smaller 21's or 2CHG's if you want, just takes longer at start up. Also, I stick with Coleman fuel. They can run kero but will foul faster.

I've found the Petromax 500CP mantles are a pretty good match for size and shape of the original PL-1 mantles.

Thanks all.
  On the mantle it is a Peerless 24-A.  Worked better than I expected.  Also learned that a 427 pump cup works well. I used CF just clean it out.  Want to try kero to see how that goes.
