Can anyone tell me what model number this is, and approximate manufacture year?

It’s branded ‘Akron Lamp Company...’ on the fiber valve wheel and fuel cap, but I don’t see any model number anywhere.

The chimney is interesting in that the lighting door has a mica insert, unlike Coleman’s with a solid metal shutter. Also, the generator is ‘S’ shaped.

Correction: the branding on the valve wheel is: ‘Diamond Lamp...’

Model 103, one of about four variants of that model, made from about 1923-1924 and still offered in the mid to late thirties or so. That's Akron's version of a QuickLite.

You have a very nice example, very clean.

Thank you for the positive ID.  I pressurized it with a Coleman pump; it held overnight and the generator passes air so I thought I’d try burning it at least once.

Make sure to preheat the generator or you’ll singe your eyebrows!! Very nice looking Akron.
