Gord, nice find. I think that is a model 288. It is distinguished by the carburetor valve that is in the side of the fount instead of above the fount like most other lanterns. Check e-bay, advanced search, sold or ended listings for a price. Probably not many of these have sold there but you never know. I think I paid about 40 bucks for mine. I like the cobalt blue on these models. Welcome from southern Michigan, John

Normally a lantern is worth about $8 but those AGM founts are always stressed cracked so don’t count on it being worth that much.

that's a 288. It is steel, and if not rusted through, is usable. Those restore in a straight forward manner despite the carb valve. you should restore it. Then sell it on ebay and you will find out the value. Or keep it and start an AGM Blues club. I'll join.
