I have a chance to get what I think is an AGM 256 lamp. Its pretty complete and would need to be painted. Looks to have been striped and painted with a brush.

My question is...are these prone to having cracked founts?

And if they are, is anyone looking for the other parts.

The price is right.

Stress cracks are common on the 256 and 256A lamps which I have seen.  They would be really useful for parts IF the carburetor value was the same as AGM lanterns but the ones used in the lamps are longer so they will not fit lanterns.  Other parts interchange.  Look that tank over real well;  the paint may hide any cracks.  Good luck!
