As I was working on a 5-52 220E I noticed that the metal rim at the top of the frame was a lot smaller than the 220F I had sitting on the bench. and the overall height is a bit smaller.  Is this normal?

The 220E is on the left.

IIRC, there was a thread/post from another member that had basically blueprinted a few variations in frames around that age range. It explained the differences and dimensions too.

When did the lighting holes move, too 🤔

Anyone have this link that Ridge Runner is referring to?  My search ended up not finding it.

So, while I was bored waiting for a vehicle inspection I tried to find the post I was referring to.

I found it, it does have a diagram, and some dimensions - but now I kinda feel a little silly - it was your thread about the tops of the frames/vent sizes for F’s & J’s.

Sorry Phredd ... [sEm_blush8]
