Looking online while I was at the beach and I see a posting for camping equipment. The first picture is of a camping pot/pan setup. I click on it and to my surprise the next picture was of a nice 200A with box and accessory safe, next picture is a 413G. I contacted the seller asking if he would sell just the lantern separately and he replied with “yeah but you should really take a look at all of it.” Long story short I came back with it all LOL. The pot/pan set even had the coffee perculator. The lantern had a total of 6 extra course weave silk lites, 2 new leather pump cups and an extra new generator. Also had 2 unopened gallons of white gas, never seen a can printed like the one pictured. Even had an Eskimo hand crank ice cream maker and we even used it to make ice cream while at the beach. Really enjoyed meeting the elderly gentleman as well, we had a great hour long conversation which is always my favorite part. Fired the 200A up this evening when we got back and it ran great, even had a Silkie already tied on.

Nice scores!... Got to say I've never seen an ice cream maker like that one... Usually just white mountains around here.

It looks very familiar to me, Bill; I think the large HW store across town had fuel like that up until a year or two ago.
Here it is!

Thanks all!  @Gasman64 great info on the Sunnyside can! Was wandering what it was myself. My best friend found a much older unopened gallon of Sunnyside white gas at his parents. Might have to try and talk him out of it now LOL

I love finding stuff while traveling. It makes the trip so much more enjoyable. :-)

That ice cream maker looks one my childhood friend's parents had growing up in Newfoundland in the 80s.

To keep everything cold they would put crushed sea ice in the bucket.

Not much more enjoyable than homemade ice cream.

I have used SunnySide camp fuel in the past when it was available. It worked well.

Thanks! We used the day after I bought it at the beach to make some ice cream. Going camping next weekend and I’m planning on taking it and making some more. Can’t wait until my boys get a little older and can take longer turns on the spinning LOL

That’s an awesome story! Your boys now have a story to tell as well! Who knew that lantern hunting could turn into homemade icecream!

Nice job picking up some cool stuff! Visiting with the old gent probably made his day, too. I bet he was happy to see them go to a good home.

It did make his day and we had a great time chatting. I’m going to send him a picture of us using the lantern, stove and ice cream maker when we go camping next weekend.
