Is there any way to date a 4A iron?  Blue with blue handle and blue fuel reservoir.

Watching this as I wonder the same thing myself. I went through one a few weeks ago and didn’t notice any dates on mine either.

I don't think there's any date on them. I'm betting that those with a threaded hole in the end of the valve stem for a pricker rod would indicate somewhere around '29, as it's the same valve stem and fuel system as a Slant. Other than that....
It's priceless until someone puts a price on it.

The only ones I’ve seen an actual date on are Canadian 4E irons.

Looking for 6-56 and 6-58 Birthday lanterns.
There's been an alarming increase in the number of things I know nothing about.

I also checked my 4A's, and other model irons, no date. My Canada 615 Kero Iron has a date.
