Looks like it smells delicious. We need more cooking in the cooking area. I've personnaly only been making waffles. I don't have a cast iron waffle iron so can't really make them on the camp stove. Would like to get one but not for the price they keep selling for.

yep, i’ve seen a few waffle irons at the local flea market, not at bargain price for sure.

i like the 425 for various reasons even though my favorite suitcase stove is the 413E.
  the 425 is kind of a runt compared to the 413 but there are advantages to having a lighter weight stove.
for one;
easily packed into the trunk or back of an estate wagon for road cooking.
two;
not a great expense usually when you come across one at a sale

many more reasons for sure.

i would make better images if i had a cameraman to help while i set up the food and he got the shot.
maybe i’ll do some wok cooking on the 413E this summer. i do like stir fried noodles with cabbage and tofu.

as found.
bought this 425E maybe five years ago at a local Friday night consignment auction, i think for $15?

has some typical surface rust on the bottom inside of case otherwise pretty decent for it’s age. doesn’t really show a lot of use.

my philosophy of stoving is “hey, this is a stove, cook something on it”.

i actually forgot i had it😳👀✅

nice 425 i had stored in the shop in the suitcase hoard.

time to get all stoves out in the sunlight.....

two different stove designs make for a great combo kitchen cooking set up.

cooking time gets so compressed when i want to take photos. it’s difficult for me to pay attention to the cooking when i’m also trying to show the stoves in action.
 one of these days i’ll get it figured out.
hoping the photos inspire the next guy to get their stove out and use it. we call these great appliances camping stoves but i like to set up a cooking station on the back deck to get as much use as i can from my stoves4ABAA202-592C-43A9-98B0-027E96501C46.jpeg

After seeing all these nice stoves and good looking food I had to chime in. Here’s a shot of my 426D I recently restored on our last camping trip a couple weeks ago. Cooked up breakfast Saturday morning. Hash, sausage scrambled eggs for my girlfriend and over easy for me. Man, writing this is making me hungry.
