I've been trying to get this lantern fired for about a year, as the guys at PNW Gathering can attest to.  A major thank you to Nevada Ed for an expert soldering job (the bung at the top of the fount had come completely loose).  After swapping out the generator for good measure and doing the typical coaxing it takes to get a milspec lit...



I think the generator was also not seated tightly enough at the valve before.  Tricky and hard to spot the leak.  I'd forgotten how cool the roar of one of these burning is!!  Just in time for Veteran's Day.
