Crash

I have the Yellow plastic 275 Lantern Carry Case. I noticed something rattling around inside.
There is a piece of wire hanging on the inside of the case, visible through the funnel storage hole, the wire has a loop in the end.   I can't get it out.  Seems like there is probably a loop in the other end of the wire looped around the plastic standoff in the center back of the case..
What? Why?

Nevermind... I got it out of there.  Fancy hook my Dad must have made.
Nice hook made from 1/8" drill rod, looked like it was a factory thing.

I always put a couple of homemade wire hooks in my cases to hang a lantern from a limb. Maybe a previous owner did the same.
