Ha, never even heard of a 246. Get ready for 252 day folks.
My friends don’t call me “Lantern/lampie Levi”
for nothin’,if they did call me that.

Looking for bday lanterns 8/38, 8/41,
10/25, and 8/07

The biggest lie I tell myself is
”I don’t need to write that down, I’ll remember it.”

Hey Levi, you've been a member here longer than me.... Is there a link that shows a list of all lanterns Coleman made?  Production numbers ( you know... how many were made in 1945 , how many in 1946 etc.). Dates they were made , and pictures of each model? I've got a couple two mantles, with nickel founts that have no model number or date stamp anywhere. Post it if you know or actually if anyone has any information such as this I'd appreciate it. I just picked up my second and third 237 too and I believe their production numbers were small.  Thanks in advance! Fishing in then St. Lawrence river and surrounding water ways means there are a lot of lanterns in this area and Canadian built ones too!!

What's the lowest you'll take for this lantern?

Today is a gift, that's why they call it the present.

Here's mine, sadly not lit either. Erwin was mentioning 246B to me today, and it took me about half an hour to find it. I knew I had one, as it was in the spreadsheet, but I just could not see it on the shelf until I got my glasses out to read the collar. Man, I am getting old...

Post some pics of what you have. Thats the easiest way for people to help identify them.

@Jeepstircrazy St Lawrence River eh. You see, I’d ask where that was, but I guess I have learned something in history class. The British gained control of it in 1763.

@Jeepstircrazy don’t know. That’s the next unit. They took control during the French and Indian War.
