I’ve been trying to get a 500cp lantern for a while but they’re so expensive.
My friends don’t call me “Lantern Levi” for nothin’,
if they did call me that.

Looking for bday lanterns 8/38, 8/41,
10/25, and 8/07

The biggest lie I tell myself is
”I don’t need to write that down, I’ll remember it.”

Yep. Sure is. Jumped on it as soon as I saw it. The nickel is cleaning up really nice so far. Normally thats kind of far, but for this one it was worth the drive.

Just curious Andy. I bought a globe off of Fleabay and it was a Red rising Sun. Would mine be at least period correct? Thanks.

I am totally not the globe expert. This is a US 237A. I think the red rising sun globes are Canadian but I don't know for sure. I have seen others talk about them so I am sure someone else who knows will be along.

I think the red sunrise would be later like the 60's.

Thanks Andy and Kevin.  I just checked and mine’s not date stamped on the bottom of the fount. I didn’t think it was. Just wanted to make sure. I’ll check further but I think it was stamped Canadian behind  the collar. The link is very much appreciated. Hope you both are doing well.

I passed on one this weekend that the fount was possibly compromised on. I wish I'd got it for a Frankie.

Congratulations. Saw that a little late. Practically in my back yard!! That makes up for the lighting door Air-O I picked up in Angola back in the Spring.

Nice one Andy. I have a pair of later painted 237a's here. I haven't had a chance to mess with them yet. I did get my newly acquired 639b running Friday afternoon though.
